Proper fit matters! To ensure you're choosing the right size for your PD, we recommend checking out our Fit Guide here;

Are there any styles not available in prescription?

Most of our frames are prescription-ready; however, the Phantom, Supershot, Hypershot, XLW, and Falcon styles are not available with prescription lenses at this time.

CanI order lenses only for my existing Ranger frame?

Yes. If you already own a compatible Ranger frame, you can order prescription
lenses only
and keep shooting with the frame you trust.

How do I know what size frames I currently own?

To find the measurements of your current frames, look inside the hinge of the glasses. You will typically find a single digit marked “63, “69” etc

How do I determine the right lens for my shooting needs?

We get it! Choosing the right lens can make all the difference. Check out our lens description page to see each lens and it’s use.

What do the measurements listed online mean?

The measurements, provided in millimeters, indicate the size of the frame: width of
lens-width of bridge-length of temple.

Can I order polarized prescription Ranger lenses?

No. Polarized prescription lenses are not offered for Ranger shooting eyewear, as
polarization can interfere with depth perception and visual cues shooters rely
on. Our non‑polarized lenses reduce glare without compromising target clarity
or accuracy.

Can my Ranger prescription lenses fade over time?

Yes, over time and with heavy use, prescription lenses can experience some fading or "yellowing" due to prolonged UV exposure and environmental wear. To keep your prescription lenses in top condition, we recommend storing them in their protective case when not in use and avoiding high-heat environments (like a car dashboard), which can accelerate the aging of the lens material and its coatings.

Are my current Ranger frames interchangeable with prescription lenses?

Yes, you may order prescription lenses for any of our RANGER frames currently available for prescription.

Do RANGER-RX models meet ANSI Z87.1 Safety Standards?

Our lenses pass ANSI ballistic standards for impact resistance, though our
interchangeable frame system is not formally rated for Z87.1 or military
MIL-SPEC use.

What is the difference between Single Vision and Progressive?

You can choose between Single Vision or Progressive (Multifocal) Lenses. Single Vision Lenses are designed to provide clear vision at a fixed distance. They correct one field of vision, such as Distance only, Intermediate only, or Reading only. Unlike progressive lenses, single-vision lenses have the same optical power throughout the lens. Progressive Lenses provide a seamless progression from distance, to intermediate, to near, allowing for clear vision at multiple focal points. If your prescription includes ADD or NV-ADD then it can be ordered as a Progressive lens.

How do I find my prescription details?

Your eyewear prescription details can be obtained from your EyeCare Provider. It will include Sphere (SPH), Cylinder (CYL), Axis for Single Vision prescriptions; Progressive (Multifocal) prescriptions, will also have a number in the Add (ADD) column. Please ensure your prescription is valid (not expired) and signed by a Licensed EyeCare Provider, before placing an order.

What is PD and how do I find it?

Your Pupillary Distance (PD) measurement indicates the distance between the centers of your pupils, in millimeters. It is a required measurement that ensures your new lenses are custom aligned over the center of your pupil for proper clarity. If you do not know your PD, or don't have it on your prescription, you can enter 63 (as an average PD value is between 58 and 65 for an adult.) PD can be written in different ways: Single PD = A single number (62) = The total distance between the center of both pupils. Dual PD = A specific measurement from each pupil (Right & Left) to the bridge of the nose. (33/31 or Right=33 Left=31)
