What is a solder joint you ask? Soldering is a process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and putting a filler metal (solder) into the joint, the filler metal having a lower melting point than the adjoining metal. Long story short, hinges, brow-bars and metal nose pad arms are examples of areas where you might have a solder joint breakage. If you are still unsure, not to fret, just send them back to us for a full evaluation.
