Ranger prescription lenses are suitable for prescriptions up to a combined power range of +/-4.00 Combined power refers to adding SPH & CYL values.
Staying within this range helps ensure clear, reliable vision while maintaining the level of optical precision needed for accurate shooting.

How can I find the size of my current frame, and how do I choose the best frame size for me?
To find the measurements of your current RANGER frame, look inside the hinge of the glasses. You will typically find a single digit marked “63, “69” etc. We also recommend checking our Fit Guide.
Getting the right fit makes a big difference in comfort, appearance and performance. There are three key measurements to know when choosing glasses: eye size, bridge size, and temple arm length. An easy way to find your ideal size is to check the pair of glasses you already wear and love.
Frame sizes are universally listed in millimeters as "Lens Width - Bridge Width- Temple Width" and are usually printed on the inside of the temple or under the bridge of the frame. For example: "55-20-145."
Are there any styles not available in prescription?
Most of our frames can be made with prescription lenses. At this time the Phantom, Supershot, Hypershot, XLW, and Falcon styles are not available for prescription.
Can I order lenses only for my existing Ranger frame?
Yes. If you already own a compatible Ranger frame, you can order prescription
lenses only and continue using the frame you love. This makes it easy to upgrade your vision without replacing your frame.
How do I determine the right lens for my shooting needs?
We know choosing the right lens can feel overwhelming but we’re here to help. Check out our lens description page to explore each option and find the one that best fits your needs.
Can I order polarized prescription Ranger lenses?
At this time, polarized prescription lenses are not available for Ranger shooting eyewear. Polarization can affect depth perception and certain visual cues that are important for shooting performance. That said, our non-polarized lenses are specifically designed to reduce glare while maintaining excellent clarity and accuracy, so you still get crisp, reliable vision on the range.
Can my Ranger prescription lenses fade over time?
Yes, over time and with heavy use, prescription lenses can experience some fading or "yellowing" due to prolonged UV exposure and environmental wear. To keep your prescription lenses in top condition, we recommend storing them in their protective case when not in use and avoiding high-heat environments (like a car dashboard), which can accelerate the aging of the lens material and its coatings.
Do RANGER-RX models meet ANSI Z87.1 Safety Standards?
Our lenses pass ANSI ballistic standards for impact resistance, though our
interchangeable frame system is not formally rated for Z87.1 or military
MIL-SPEC use.

What is PD (Pupillary Distance) and how do I find it?
Your Pupillary Distance (PD) is the measurement, in millimeters, between the centers of your pupils. It ensures your lenses are properly aligned for clear vision.
If you don’t know your PD or it isn’t listed on your prescription, you can usually find it on a previous prescription eyewear order, or by contacting your Eye Care Provider.
Be aware that PD can be written in two ways:
Single PD: One number (for example, 62) that represents the total distance between both pupils.
Dual PD: Two numbers (for example, 33/31) that measure each eye separately—right and left—from the bridge of the nose.
